Question 1

What is a B2B affiliate program?

Accepted Answer

A B2B affiliate program pays partners a commission on revenue driven through a tracked link. The affiliate promotes you to an audience they already have, you close the business, and attribution happens automatically rather than through a conversation. Affiliates work at volume and have no interest in a portal relationship, so the program succeeds or fails on how little it asks of them. EULER handles the tracking and the payouts so participating takes nothing more than sharing a link.

Question 2

How does affiliate link attribution work?

Accepted Answer

A unique link per partner and per campaign carries the identifier, and the conversion it produces is credited back automatically. That is the whole value of the model: no submission, no login, no monthly reconciliation to figure out who earned what. In EULER you generate links per partner and per campaign, and conversions attribute to the right affiliate on their own, with visits and conversion rate tracked per link.

Question 3

What is the difference between an affiliate and a referral partner?

Accepted Answer

Volume and intimacy. A referral partner sends a handful of warm introductions to people they know. An affiliate sends traffic, often at scale, to buyers they have never met. Referral fits a long B2B cycle where your team does the selling. Affiliate fits a shorter path where the content does it. In EULER both run in the same platform with their own intake and payout logic, so you can run either or both without separate tools.

Question 4

What is a branded microsite and why use one?

Accepted Answer

A microsite is a landing page built for a single partner, carrying their branding alongside yours, tied to a referral or registration flow. It converts better than a generic link because the visitor sees the partner they trust, and it gives the affiliate something to point an audience at. In EULER you publish one in minutes, every submission through it is attributed to that partner, and visits and conversion rate are tracked per page.

Question 5

How do you onboard affiliates without losing them to friction?

Accepted Answer

By not requiring anything before they have earned something. Asking an affiliate to complete a portal registration before their first dollar is the fastest way to lose volume, because the effort comes before any proof the program is worth it. In EULER an affiliate can start with a link and a microsite. The relationship deepens if the revenue does, not before.

Question 6

How do you pay affiliates?

Accepted Answer

On attributed revenue, on a schedule, without a manual review step per payment. Calculating and sending affiliate payments by hand works until the program grows, and then it becomes the reason the program stops growing. In EULER payouts calculate against attributed revenue, route through your approval flow, and pay by bank transfer or gift card. Affiliates see what they earned and when, without asking your team.

Question 7

How do you defend affiliate attribution to finance?

Accepted Answer

By tying every payout to a specific conversion and a specific link rather than to a monthly summary. Finance questions affiliate spend when the arriving conversions have no clear owner, and that is an attribution problem dressed up as a budget problem. In EULER every conversion traces to a partner and a campaign automatically, so the payout has a record behind it before anyone asks.

Question 8

How do you know which affiliates and campaigns are working?

Accepted Answer

Per page and per campaign, not per month. Most programs track affiliate performance in a spreadsheet somebody updates when they remember, which means decisions get made against a picture that is weeks old. In EULER visits, submissions, and conversion rates are tracked per link and per microsite, so you can cut a campaign that is not converting while it still matters.

Question 9

Should affiliates be paid on clicks or on revenue?

Accepted Answer

Revenue, in B2B. Paying on clicks or leads rewards volume regardless of quality, and in a market with long cycles and high contract values that gets expensive before it gets useful. Paying on closed revenue aligns the affiliate with the outcome you care about, and it only works if attribution survives the whole cycle. In EULER it does: the link credit carries through to closed revenue and the payout calculates from there.

Question 10

Can affiliates be promoted into other partner motions?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and the good ones should be. An affiliate consistently driving qualified revenue is a candidate for a referral or reseller relationship with better terms and more support. That transition is usually blocked by tooling rather than strategy. In EULER the partner record carries over, so an affiliate who becomes a reseller keeps their history instead of starting as a new account.
